The meeting will take place at the University of Bristol (http://www.bris.ac.uk) in the Department of Mathematics (http://www.maths.bris.ac.uk). The lecture theatres have full a/v facilities, including data projectors. Poster boards (A0 portrait format) will be provided.
Bristol has its own airport and is also easily reached from London and Birmingham by public transport. The university's website has information on how to get to Bristol and the campus (http://www.bris.ac.uk/university/maps/). Please note that the campus is in the centre of Bristol and parking is therefore very difficult.
Bed and breakfast has been arranged in the Washington Hotel (nominally from the night of Sunday 21 March to the morning of Saturday 27 March).
Meals and refreshments
Lunch will be provided in the Department of Mathematics from Monday to Friday (inclusive), together with morning and afternoon refreshments. Evening meals are not provided (with the exception of the Conference Dinner on the evening of Thursday 25 March).
Participants may register outside the main lecture room between 0830 and 0930 on Monday 22 March, or on arrival.
Attendance at this meeting is by application. Numbers will be restricted to retain the workshop character and the balance between disciplines.
The application period is now closed. The deadline for receipt of applications was 1 December 2003. Applicants will be informed of the result of their application during January 2004.
The Organisers have funds enabling them to cover the subsistence of the majority of people and to cover the travel costs of those unable to fund themselves from other sources.
