This multidisciplinary workshop will bring together mathematicians and theoretical physicists working in geometry, representation theory and string theory in order to exchange results, questions and points of view on the role of derived categories in their respective fields. Particular emphasis will be placed on explaining to the mathematicians the emerging interest of physicists in quivers and derived categories.

The meeting will start on the morning of Monday 2 August and continue until the afternoon of Friday 6 August.
