A conference in honour of the
75th birthday of
24 & 25 June 2004, Edinburgh Home Page | Conference
Arrangements | Scientific Programme and
Workshop will be held at the head-quarters of ICMS at 14 India Street. This
house is the birthplace of James Clerk Maxwell and is situated in the historic
New Town of Edinburgh, very near the centre. Facilities include email and rooms
suitable for small discussion meetings.
ICMS travel pages show the location of
India St and have links to pages with advice on how to get to Edinburgh and
travel around once here. India Street goes northwards downhill from the west
end of Heriot Row and No 14 is the house with the black door on the left as you
go down the hill.
Participants should make
their own accommodation arrangements. A list of central-Edinburgh accommodation
of various sorts and prices can be found here.
Morning and afternoon refreshments will be provided at the
venue. Lunch will not be provided, but there are many bars and restaurants

immediately after the meeting on Thursday evening, to which all participants
The Registration Fee is £10,
payable on arrival.
