The North British Mathematical Physics Seminar was officially established on 1 October 2001, with partial support from the London Mathematical Society in the form of a Scheme 3 grant. Its purpose is to allow mathematical physicists from the North of Britain to meet regularly. Three one-day meetings are held in rotation every year in Edinburgh, Durham or Newcastle, Nottingham or York. All meetings are open to all.
