ICMS are supporting the 2021 Joint British Mathematical Colloquium (BMC) and the British Applied Mathematics Colloquium (BAMC) from 6-9 April.
The meeting, which will take place entirely online, will attract close to 1000 participants. The meeting has been organised by the University of Glasgow. The programme will include 29 BAMC minisymposia, 9 confirmed BMC sessions, 17 contributed talk sessions and 70+ posters. In addition to the main programme, there will be a Public Lecture ‘How we divide ourselves up to vote, and why it matters’ by Moon Duchin (7 April); as well as a varied programme of lunchtime activities, including a panel on ‘Engaging the Public’ with mathematics (7 April); and an ‘Outreach project video showcase’ throughout the week. ICMS are providing administrative and technical support throughout the event.

ICMS will also be supporting an 'Alternative Conference Dinner Experience' on 8 April, at 19.00 BST, which will cater to all tastes and will include an hour of entertainment. It will feature an appearance from a 1770 Single Malt Whisky from the Glasgow Distillery Company...
All ICMS staff will be supporting the event, and thus will be unavailable for other requests. We'll be back in the office fully from the 12th April!
