ICMS regular John Ball wins LMS medal

Professor Sir John Ball collects his medal from Ulrike Tillmann, President of the London Mathematical Society

John Ball, professor of Mathematics at Heriot-Watt University and regular visitor to ICMS, has been awarded the De Morgan Medal by the London Mathematical Society for his contributions to mathematics and the mathematical community.
