About:
The main aim of the meeting was to present the recent work of Daniel Wise and his collaborators on ‘special cube complexes’. This work has corollaries in combinatorial group theory and in low-dimensional topology. The meeting introduced a group of mathematicians to the methods of special cube complexes. Mathematicians at various stages of their careers were represented, including experts and graduate students.
