About:
Over the last several decades, there has been significant development in harmonic analysis and partial differential equations (PDEs) through their close interactions. On the one hand, harmonic analysis played an essential role in settling some of the central problems in the field of linear and nonlinear PDEs, including dispersive and hyperbolic equations and elliptic and parabolic equations and systems. On the other hand, recent advance in our theoretical understanding of PDEs has stimulated further development of analytical ideas and tools in harmonic analysis. The main purpose of this workshop was to bring together researchers in these two fields and strengthen the link between them.
