The Maxwell Institute (Heriot-Watt University and University of Edinburgh) and International Centre for Mathematical Sciences (ICMS) hosted European Study Group with Industry (ESGI) 171 on 17-21 July (2023) at Old College, University of Edinburgh. ESGIs are week-long problem-solving workshops that attract leading mathematicians to work on industrial problems.
