This knowledge exchange workshop hosted at Loughborough University's Department of Mathematical Sciences aims to foster collaboration between academia and industry. This initiative seeks to merge theoretical and practical aspects of mathematical sciences, align research with industry needs, and enhance professional networks. The workshop will address skills gaps, set research and educational agendas, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and showcase the department's capacity to meet industry challenges, thereby driving innovation in mathematical sciences.

Representatives from a range of prestigious external organisations will be joining us, including Innovate UK, the International Centre for Mathematical Sciences, and the UK Knowledge Exchange Hub for Mathematical Sciences. Additionally, we will have attendees from companies such as Kew Science, Access Group, Bet365, Interface Polymers, Vironix Health, Third Planet Orbital, These Hand Consulting, and CAVT, among others. We are also pleased to welcome participants from Loughborough University’s Business Incubator (LUinc.). This workshop offers an excellent opportunity to network, collaborate, and exchange ideas with leaders in the field.
